Abstract submission
It is our pleasure to invite you to join us at the REALITIES - Real Emotions and Affect in Extended Realities. REALITIES will take place on 5th, July 2024 in Milan, ITALY.
Our call for abstracts is open until 15th May 2024 5th June 2024 (Milan time zone).
Please submit your abstract in English, adhering to a maximum of 250 words. Ensure that your abstract is concise, clear, and does not include any references.
We invite submissions of original research papers, perspectives, case studies, reviews, and technical reports on all aspects of technology and mental health.

Acceptance notification of abstracts: 23rd May 10th June
Registration: 15th June (early bird)
Full paper: 31st July (after the conference)
Camera ready deadline: 30th September
Please read all the instructions before completing the form below, even if you have been attending the conference in the past and especially if you are submitting a symposium. We are using EasyChair, a familiar platform for many of you.
Criteria for Approval.
The proposal process is a competitive one. All submissions will be blindly reviewed and evaluated by at least two members of the Program Committee. The accept or reject decision is at the discretion of the Scientific Committee. Commercial promotion and funding requests are not appropriate in submission of abstracts and during scientific presentations.
We accept work in progress at the conference.
Conference language.
Titles and abstracts of each submission are in English. Talks will be given in English. Please check spelling and grammar. If English is not your native language, please have your paper proofread by a native speaker, preferably one who is familiar with the described paper.
Presentation Formats
You can submit short or full papers or symposia or poster.
Short paper: from 5 to 10 pages max length
full paper: 20 pages max length
Poster: 3 page max length
Short or full papers and posters submitted for consideration, will be included in the conference proceedings.
All program participants must register and pay the appropriate convention registration fee. This includes all speakers, session chairpersons, participants, poster presenters, etc.
Note that PC computers (or laptops), LCD projector, screen, microphone and speakers will be available in each presentation room.
