The use of pervasive sensing technology to better understand and support people with mental health disorders is gaining popularity as the field of mental health research advances quickly. The term "pervasive sensing" describes the passive gathering of information about a person's physical, social, and emotional milieu using a variety of sensors, including accelerometers, cameras, microphones, psychophysiology sensors, medical sensors, and behavioral sensors. These sensors can be used to track a person's heart rate, skin conductance, electroencephalography (EEG), and movements, among other facets of their physiological and behavioral states.

Additionally, the physiological reactions connected to mental and emotional states can be measured using psychophysiology sensors like electrocardiograms (ECG) and respiration sensors. Medical sensors can be used to track a person's entire physical health, such as blood glucose and temperature sensors. An individual's social interactions and emotional expression can also be monitored using behavioral sensors like cameras and microphones. This extensive array of sensors enables a more thorough assessment of a person's physical and mental wellbeing.

Participating in the Pervasive Sensing for Mental Health conference offers a unique opportunity for the best presenters to have their work published in the prestigious Sensors Journal (https://www.mdpi.com/journal/sensors). The best paper submitted, will be eligible to have their conference paper considered for publication in the journal, with no fee for submission. This is a rare opportunity for young professionals to have their work recognized and published in a leading academic journal, and to showcase their research to a wider audience. The Sensors Journal is a highly-regarded publication in the field of science and technology of sensors, and this opportunity provides a platform for the best presenters to share their work with the world and advance their careers. So, don't miss this chance to demonstrate your expertise and make your mark in the field.

The accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings and they will be submitted for inclusion to the leading indexing services: DBLP, Google Scholar, Thomson Scientific ISI Proceedings, EI Elsevier Engineering Index, CrossRef and Scopus.
